Exchanges via stickers

From: black_cavalier_1642 (Nils.A.Hedglin@Intel.Com) | Date: 2005-04-24 22:22:14 UTC

With all the exchanges the GRR, what is people's view of stamping your
personal stamp on a sticker before the event, & then giving those out
instead of actually stamping in a log? It sounds like this would
greatly reduce the exchange time, especially for multi-colored stamps,
so was thinking about doing it, but wanted to make sure it wasn't a
faux pas 1st.
Thanks,
Black Cavalier

As posted prior Gwen & I can not make the GRR, but I thought I might post our feeling about exchanges. While we have no accurate count of our Xes, we very much value the personal contact and the limited time we spend with our fellow letterboxers. To rush the process seems a shame. I would rather look at some of the exchange stamps we have in our book and recall the experience of meeting other boxers. That is merely my opinion, and as everyone is aware I am somewhat reluctant to offer it. Sure!
